Who We Are
Her Bloom Academy Foundation was born from a divine vision during a university anniversary, dedicated to empowering orphaned teenagers and creating lasting change in communities across Cameroon.
Our Foundation Story
Her Bloom Academy (HBA) is a non-profit organization born from a conceived vision I had during the 75th anniversary of my university, where I was studying for my Master’s degree. During one of the academic presentations, this idea suddenly unveiled into my spirit with the name.
The Divine Moment
“Interestingly, this idea and the topic of anniversary discussed in that room had nothing in common with the vision. But I got the message so clear that, I can still remember my sitting position in that hall.”
Since then this burden has left me restless, but with a strong motivation to take on this journey. This foundation is dedicated to the holistic empowerment of teenage orphans and targets this group of persons especially the female. Our focus areas include capacity building through skill sets as educational scholarships, psychosocial, health and pregnancy help care, philanthropic contributions to orphanages, and STEM sensitization.
We are committed to providing these young women with the resources, skills, and opportunities needed to achieve their fullest potential so that they can intend create lasting change in their communities. Alongside, we are offering research, and M&E oriented services.
